On Sept. 20 local time, StarTimes Uganda clinched the 10th People’s Choice Quality Awards in the digital TV industry at the award ceremony held in Kampala, Uganda's capital. Hon. Michael Werikhe Kafabusa, State Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives of Uganda, presented the award to StarTimes. The awards committee had a very high opinion of StarTimes: StarTimes is still the most popular and influential pay-TV provider in Uganda. This is because compared with other providers in the market, StarTimes is doing a better job in content localization, sports content, pricing and marketing effectiveness.
