On December 11, Delfim Neves, President of the National Assembly of Saint Thomas and Prince, led a delegation of 12 people to visit StarTimes. Yan Lijun, associate consultant of the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the General Office of the NPC Standing Committee, accompanied the delegation on the visit. Mr. Pang Xinxing, President of StarTimes, received the delegation. Mr. Pang led Mr. Neves and his delegation to visit the research institute, translation and dubbing center, high definition studios and playout center.

Mr. Neves said that after this visit, he had a clearer understanding of StarTimes, and was impressed by the company’s achievements. He also pointed out that StarTimes was a prominent player in the field of digital TV industry, which is in urgent need of upgrading in Saint Thomas and Prince. He was looking forward to modernizing the digital TV industry in Saint Thomas and Prince through the cooperation of both sides.
