In order to help more African people acquire pandemic information in time, learn scientific prevention methods, and effectively avoid infection, StarTimes launched a program called StarTimes Daily -- COVID-19 Report. This program aims to work with local governments to help people acquire disease prevention knowledge, and jointly defeat the pandemic.

StarTimes Daily --COVID-19 Report has five sections: Global Pandemic Data Published by WHO, International Pandemic Situation, African Pandemic Situation, Disease Prevention Knowledge, and Interviews. The length of each episode is 8-10 minutes, and they’re broadcast in Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Swahili and Hausa simultaneously through TV, live satellite, and Internet (StarTimes ON APP and StarTimes Facebook official account). TV subscribers could watch the program on 12 channels.
