"COVID 19 Self-Assessment System in Africa" was opened to the public on March 27. This system was jointly developed by StarTimes, School of Clinical Medicine and Institute for Artificial Intelligence at Tsinghua University. After it goes online, it will improve people's understanding of COVID-19 and effectively prevent public panic. The system will not only reduce the risk of cross-infection, but also reduce the pressure on medical resources and society and improve the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment.

This system can be accessed on StarTimes ON app, which is available in Chinese, English, French, Portuguese and Swahili. According to the situation and needs of African countries, this app will bring China’s latest experience and technique of COVID-19 prevention and control to 45 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa
