On April 20, StarTimes officially launched the local TV channel, AFRO TV, on the DTT Channel 065 and satellite digital TV Channel 605. AFRO TV is designed for French-speaking regions in Africa, featuring TV series and films. AFRO TV selects quality content from Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal and other French-speaking countries. At the same time, it also airs popular programs from English-speaking regions such as Nollywood, South Africa and Kenya as supplementary content. These programs are close to the local audience’s daily life, which they can easily connect to.
