Recently, StarTimes and Confederation Africaine de Football jointly announced the cooperation agreement, according to which, StarTimes owns the exclusive broadcasting rights in English, Portuguese and minor languages of Total CHAN Cameroon 2020, which would be held from January 16 to February 7, 2021, and all games will be broadcast in sub-Saharan Africa (including South Africa).

Constant Omari, the interim Chairman of Confederation Africaine de Football said: "We are very pleased to cooperate with StarTimes. StarTimes has extensive experience in broadcasting various top sports events. It is an internationally recognized leading media group and has the ability to broadcast more important matches for audiences. Through new cooperation with key industry-related companies, we will enhance the influence of Total CHAN Cameroon 2020 and make them the focus of attention of African football fans."
